Are you a very experienced SQL Developer? Do you have strong SQL Server knowledge? This role might be the right for you!
What will you do?
- Developing production standard code in Agile dev. process
- Assist on developing a 10+ TB database
- Manage processes and find the best technical solution
- Provide leadership in the SQL Development team
- Lower global replication latency
- Deliver performance enhancements, but changes and, for example, deploying InMemory technology
- Evaluate and propose implementation of columnar, data-offload and other built-in capabilities
- Expand the overall solution to fully support internal and external cloud (AWS now, Azure in the future)
- Improve archiving strategy on global instances, while still allowing clients to self-serve historical data
What are the key requirements?
- Solid (8+ years) experience with SQL Server
- Ability to work in diverse technologies
- Design patterns
- IIS Web Services
Nice to have:
