A well-established, gradually growing international company that is currently looking for Database Administator in SQL (DBA)!
Responsibilities for this role consists of:
- Ensure that the audit and ISRM assessment findings and recommendations receive the proper reaction
- Manage patches, manage images, and assure standard builds and images with service provisioning and metering
- Provide early input to the development team on release-related issues
- Ensure that all technology assets are managed with an up-to-date asset inventory and that only approved components are used
- Oversee the Technical Operations service scope's adherence to Security and Compliance policies and procedures
- Coordinate any configuration management database changes that have an impact on production services, whether they are direct or indirect
- Arrange for the standard and regulated addition, modification, or removal of any IT asset.
- Make certain that CIs are detected, recorded, reported, validated, and audited
- Establish responsibility for ensuring compliance with Security and Compliance guidelines within the purview of Service Operations.
What you need to have:
- Fluent English (B2+)
- 2 to 6 years of expertise administering SQL databases, including installing, configuring, and patching SQL Server 2014/2016/2017/2019
- Experience in both clustered and non-clustered environments.
- Relevant experience in database administration and security management
- Skilled in setting up, configuring, and troubleshooting SQL Server High Availability systems - Experience designing and managing Disaster Recovery & High Availability solutions
- Knowledge of SQL Server Analytical and Reporting Services
- Database monitoring, performance analysis, and fine-tuning abilities
Strong combination of technical and communication abilities working in a worldwide team setting
- Good working knowledge of Windows operating systems and servers/databases hosted on public clouds
