We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer for a new project for a company based in Prague.
Do you have experience with migration? We are working with SQL servers and databases implementing migration to Snowflake, if you have Azure, that is an advantage!
And what will you do on a daily basis?
- Implement ETL pipelines for Azure and Snowflake data transformation
- Maintain Azure components and services for seamless operation
- Enable end-to-end automation through continuous integration and delivery
- Collaborate with Analysts to translate business requirements into curated datasets
- Work on data integration using Azure Data Factory and Fivetran
- Design data architecture for future growth and scalability
- Document data pipelines for efficient management
- Engage in stakeholder workshops for effective technical solutions
- Collaborate with source system owners for flexible data pipeline updates
- Assist in testing, governance, data quality, and documentation for global analytics support
- 10 years of data engineering experience, specializing in designing and building scalable data pipelines and infrastructure
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with cloud data warehouses like Snowflake
- Proficient in Data Modeling, skills in SQL and Python
- SAP BW experience is essential as well as Snowflake
- Experience in full life cycle data analytics development, including Requirements, Architecture, Design, Testing, and deployment
- Skilled in performance tuning ETLs/ELTs and database solutions for large datasets
- Proficiency in modern Agile development methodologies is a plus
- Fivetran and Azure Data Factory is a plus
- Coalesce knowledge is an advantage
- Deliver maintenance and improvements for existing applications
