Our client with a Shared Service Centes in Prague is currently looking for accounting professionals to join their General Ledger accounting teams.
As a Senior GL Accountant, you would be responsible for:
- Coordinating all activities related to record to report accounting, asset accounting, bank accounting, general ledger accounting, and management accounting.
- Participating in closing activities in cooperation with other departments
- Accounts reconciliations
- Preparing tax reports
- Statutory reporting
- Reporting operation process issues and supports in issue resolution
- Developing process documentation
- Process improvement
- University degree in finance/accounting/business preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in General Ledger accounting
- Advanced spoken and written Business English C1
- Knowledge of European GAAP, US-GAAP, IFRS
- Work experience with ERP systems like SAP
- Experience from the SSC/BPO environment is a plus
- Organized personality with attention to detail
- Accurate, communicative with good communication skills
