What will you be doing?
- Involving in a mix of requirements gathering, development work, quality control and user support
- Help drive technical solutions and project work
- Involved in all aspects of software development life cycle
- Dealing with users, project managers and other developers
- Reporting to the development lead on the progress of development and user support tasks in daily Scrum meetings
- Supporting users when problems arise
- Negotiating and soliciting engagement and support at all levels of the organisation, particularly where support is low or challenging
- Applying evaluative judgement and analytical skills to operate effectively within a complex and changing environment.
What we’re looking for:
- Development skills in one of (or both) F# or/and C#
- Passion and interest in functional programming (F#)
- Practical experience of project delivery
- Good time management, prioritisation and ability to meet deadlines and strong interpersonal and communication skills across all levels
Skills that will help you in the role:
- Familiar with any functional language, e.g. F#, Scala, Haskell, Clojure
- Acquainted with NoSQL database solutions, e.g. MongoDB
- Accustomed with UI/Web development
- Experience of working in an Investment Bank
